A Vibrant Community Celebration-The Summer Kickoff Party.

Updated: May 31

The place we call home is more than just a physical location; it profoundly influences our daily experiences, social interactions, and overall well-being. Neighborhood culture plays a vital role in shaping our lives, from the people we meet to the resources available to us and the lifestyle we lead. Understanding how the vibe of a neighborhood affects your entire life can help you appreciate the nuances of where you live and the potential it holds for your personal growth and happiness.

This past weekend, I had the privilege of experiencing this for myself, as our team was invited to attend the annual neighborhood summer kickoff party for the residence of Flowers Crossing at The Mill. Each year, Social Committee chair members Jamie Marshall and Alaneyer Smith invest countless hours to ensure this event is an epic success. Smith, a former event planner, was clearly amazing in her former career. Well-known throughout the community, she connects with local business owners to bring in new and unique experiences that appeals to both young and old. Marshal's talents on the grill was an unrefuted contribution as she grilled over 150 hamburgers and countless hotdogs. This duo is definitely on my list of experts.
